Venezuela

This is the latest sovereign nation that needs to be 'saved' by America.
The democratically elected leader is not liked by the USA, so they have installed a puppet president instead.

Does Venezuela have oil..?

Btw, I don't know enough about the Venezuelan situation to pass comment, hence why I only stated something about the other governments recognising the opposition.

Most people on here probably don't know enough about it. It won't stop them commenting or using it to political point score though.

Oil is the global currency.

Stability in oil producing regions is crucial to everyone way of life.

Having someone who might be viewed as volatile is not good.

Whether elected or not.

Or say that Assad was 'democratically elected' because he held a vote with about 30% of the population voting.

These poor misunderstood good guys never get any luck.

Syrians support Assad that's a fact

I watched Zeitgeist again at the weekend.

It was mentioning those countries and then it said Venezuela is next, the next day it was the EU recognise new leaders.

amazing how obvious it is we are all being controlled by a few rich guys and we've been told all about what they plan to do, then they gradually get closer and closer and still nobody does anything.

Won't be long before we're all chipped.

The election was overseen by the usual people they watch elections, none of them said the election was rigged, Jimmy carter said that the election is one of the best and hardest to rig due to people who vote have to use their finger print to prove they are who they say they. This guy claiming to be the rightful leader didn't even enter into the elections. American sanctions have crippled Venezuela. They started a long time ago, so it's not an excuse to have a go at trump, he's just one in a long line of presidents doing what they are told to. Doesn't take much research to see which countries in the Americas the USA has messed with and how bad they have faired since.
