Lamela is a key man in the squad. He doesn't play every game but you need squad players like that. Scored a few and a good number of assists this season. Always puts a shift in.

in 6 years has not done enough to justify the fee... had more than enough chances... better suited to Italy ... needs a slower place where him being so one footed isn't shown up so much

the reason his decision making is so poor is because it's always left footed. ssying he puts in a shift isn't enough at the sharp end of them... same gooes for sissoko.... look at the "players" city have in their midfield.... there's the difference between top 4 and champions... like i said.... it's up to spurs now.... this squad is great just not great enough

Yeah had some hip injury and is not being rushed into games still.

I really like lamela as a player but his injuries are too regular and if we could get £25m towards signing a quality replacement I wouldn't be against it in the summer

i'd bite anyone's arm off for 25mln for Lamela

He has a back injury apparently, but moving him on and replacing him is just another piece of business we would need to do among a long list of more important areas of the team that needs addressing first.

His injuries are frustrating, but we need to address central midfield, fullback and back up for Kane first, as well as potential replacements for Toby and Eriksen. We can`t go changing half the team in a single window.

Ha. Good luck with that. Full of 'get rid of player A B and C' but ask who comes in and then it's 'Well that's why the club have scouts'.

Look at the successful teams over the years not all their players are superstars. Many, like Ole GS, were just proper professionals happy to be committed to the cause. Not when they weren't playing. Or when they were subbed. Quality with the right attitude and gave it all when called upon. Lamela is of those IMO and that makes him an essential character in our squad
