So our next two games are vs Munich and M Utd.....news broke that Munich have an injury to Coman as well as having Ribery injured and Muller suspended. Coman is a key player for them not so much the other 2 these days but it's still a blow.
Next Utd confirm lingard and Martial are injured, both key to utd in recent games and that means likely recall for sanchez and lukaku...neither of who are having a great time or track runners in a utdifferent shirt.
Meanwhile we are due to welcome back several players and should be set up nicely following the break, VVD is suspended for Munich 1st leg yes, but at least the game is at Anfield.
We just need to do the business on the pitch....we have had bad luck with so many defensive injuries but they look to be clearing up. Full steam ahead and always rather be a lucky team

Why would any fan want their teams progress not to be made easier ?
Obviously nobody should derive pleasure from players being injured, but if a team we are playing is missing some of their better players, then of course we would be more confident of getting some sort of result.
Anyway, beyond that, it's going to a tough game for Liverpool either way.

we coasted top 4, we dropped plenty of points late in the season due to resting players for the CL but had a big enough gap to see us through.

Not sure what you're trying to complain about. Only thing your bad luck prevented you from achieving last season is possibly 2nd place, but that's unimportant if you still finish in the top 4. You still made the CL final and lost because your keeper had a mare + Bale.

Funny how you guys keep track of opposition side injury list and get a good jolly out of thrurvplayers getting injured?
Maybe you don't trust your side to win unless the other side has their best players not available?
I am sure against Bayern at Anfield, home crowd with their ungentlemanly and aggressive loud whistling when the players from Bayern touch the ball will be prevalent?
