Just to remind you...

...we are third on goal difference.
We play a very beatable WBA on Friday at home.
The Blades play a quickly improving Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday.
FFS get behind our team. They have given us everything this season. Don't stop believing.
My bet is we will be seeing a very different board next week.

I like and admire your positive outlook and as with all out games we will be backed by huge numbers with all the support they can give. However constructive criticism from fans who care deeply about their club won't stop and should not stop on a forum that is all about debate.

The players and coaching staff have given everything to the cause so far and done brilliantly so far this season despite results like last night. The same cannot be said on those financing and managing recruitment. That is the main gripe I am seeing and where a lot of the criticism is coming from.

Normally I'm fairly negative but I think too many seem to have given up on a one off game in February. Hopefully a positive result on Friday will turn some of that mood around, because there are going to be lots of twists and turns in the next 12 games. Still 2 points off top.

It was a big opportunity last night to go top against a team in 18th on a terrible run of form. Disappointing but still a lot to play for and we can still finish top 2 or even win the league. This team has rallied and surprised us time and time again.

Well said Bielsa

Early '92 I went to Loftus Road to see us get beat 4-1 by QPR.

Coming back on the tube I was stood alongside some German Leeds fans ( and strangely enough Blairs Father in Law Tony Booth of Alf Garnett fame), who had come over specifically for this game.

They said 'We lost the title tonight' .

The rest as they say is history!

( not comparing squads !! )

Rob is spot on. The frustration and criticism is purely directed at the management and recruitment side of the club, NOT the players. The players have given there all and cannot be questioned whatsoever, we were let down by the owners and Bielsa in January. Should have gone playstation and signed ODowda or James, a striker for competition and injury cover plus a midfielder for the same reasons.

It's not just results. It's the way the team has been playing - which (other than against Derby) has been really poor since Christmas.
We were unable to break down a poor side last night, and only managed to scrape past a relegation club with a lucky goal on Saturday.
The team seems burnt out and bereft of ideas in the attacking half.
On current form we will be lucky to make the play-offs.

I know every Leeds fan will think same old story by the 2nd half of the season we just slip away as usual, we always make it difficult for ourselves near the end and for the fans Leeds are the most frustrating team to follow for the last 10-15 years, because we always get build up our hopes up to Xmas, then bang we just collapse - I have a gt feelling wee will make auto-promotion. Bielsa is a magician, he'lll work out something.

I am not disputing the criticism of management, which is mostly constructive, but I do feel the criticism of players is excessive. Some of the comments about Roberts and Douglas are out order and considering Bamford is just back from a long term injury, we should be making allowance for that too. As fans,we are way too hard on our players, especially this season, when they have given us so much to enjoy. Memories are short around here. Maybe a couple of videos from when Colin or Hock or McDermott were here will remind posters how far we have come. I say it again, get behind the team. They need us now more than ever.
