Killie

I see Killies game with Motherwell was abandoned last night.

The game is rearranged for Saturday.

Killie distributed vouchers last night for the rearranged game.

Now they're saying that all fans who paid to go will have to pay again.

That sounds familiar, doesn't it?

Motherwell are paying for their fans to attend.

This makes me unhappy as it’s a very good move and I’m done hating them after last week.

Interesting.

I guess motherwell value their fans more than Rangers, since they never stepped in like that.

At least mention the rights issue with Murray if you want to go for the throat. Tame Ivan.

You would expect clubs to just swallow the costs

thought plastic pitches were meant to be all weather

I thought killie's offer of a fiver for the game was actually reasonable. It's not like it's free for them to put on the replay. There round be costs in cancelling the first match and costs in staging the serving match. Money is tight for these clubs. The five would cover some of the policing and stewarding costs.

It's a broadly similar situation to the Killie one.

When you resort to saying it is a ‘broadly similar’ situation to the Dundee Utd one then even you know you are at it 😂

I don’t know the details from the United situation but I am guessing the critical difference here is Killie are charging far less today then United did for the rearranged game ten years ago?

The replay at Tannadice was also a reduced price. It was half price.

Which meant fans paid for 1.5 games and saw 1.5 games.

So Killie are charging a fiver.

Which is much less than united charged.

Ten years ago.

That’s a pretty significant difference imo. I guess Killie will say they are just covering their costs.

Whereas United....
