Hopefully Lukaku can maintain this spell of form for the rest of the season. We all know how patchy he can be, but we’ll need his goals because Rashford isn’t in great goal scoring form right now.

Young had a shocker today, wasn't a good team performance overall but an important win all the same, Pogba, Rashford, Young, Sanchez all played a level or two below what they're capable of, but a win is a win

Is Rom in the top 5 for goals scored in the league now?

Why can't we see "second half" lukaku all of the time... Or even the majority of the time
He was superb

It did combine with when we moved to two upfront and didn't have Sanchez occupying the space. Lukaku needs the right set up.

His whole work rate improved too tho
Agree tho sanchez going off changed everything... Some nice interplay between Rashford and lukaku as a duo too

12 wins and 2 draws out of 14 in the PL alone.

Some of the performances recently are a bit of a wordy. But given the injuries and some of the limitations in the squad we’ve done incredibly well go get the results we have. Really need players back ahead of our tough run in.

To be expected mate. It hasn't been pretty at times, but we've adapted well.
It is also been very important to have had Ole in charge during these nervy games, any other manager available while we're in our current transitional state may not have gotten the performances, desires and results like we have under Ole.

Prem, yep we all seem to be pulling in the right direction. But I do hope we can up our performance levels later in the season as we have a lot of really tough games.

Time to see if Roob's done an article

He'll be going on about this Lukaku performance for the next 5 years ffs
In all fairness though, well done to him (Lukaku, not Robb ). I questioned his mentality on this thread at half time but he's done really well to pull this out the bag for us.
