I re-watched S8 a few months ago. It's even worse than I remember

The Long Night would've been pretty good, switching your brain off & enjoying the spectacle, if you could see what was happening. But the rest of it is so f*ckin boring!

That's something I hadn't considered five years ago when I was emotionally invested, the series is just dull.

I didn’t think it was that bad. Certainly a shiiiit load better than all of house of dragon which I really didn’t like very much.,

does anyone think George Martin will actually finish the book or even start on the last one before he dies ?

Highly doubt he'll finish the books, even if he lives to 100.

They will probably get Sanderson to finish them like he did Wheel of Time

Tbh the books are facking boring because of the POV structure (you finish a chapter on a cliffhanger and then have to wait 5+ chapters to get back round to that character)

I only read them because I didn't want to wait for new episodes/seasons to find out what happened
