Is there a qualified psychologist out ther

Do we have a qualified psychologist who follows 606, and can provide us all with a professional explanation for this ???

The last time we had a team capable of "getting over the line" was 1981, 1982 & 1984. That is 35 years ago !!!!

Since then this club has had 100's of players, numerous managers and a few chairman/owners, but we STILL cannot achieve the basic mental strength to get over that line.

It's like groundhog day ... put a team/squad together, build up some real progress, achieve a few outstanding results, then when it gets close to that line, we capitulate/fall short.

There has to be some deep built in issue running through this club, and I for one would love to hear a professional take on this from someone who is qualified and supports our team.

Any takers ??

No offence and i know many sound spurs fans and like your style of play and history, but you lack a boring but essential killer instinct!

Today's game at Southampton had nothing to do with killer instinct. It had to do with fielding a scratch defense containing untried players, and rusty players back from injury, who simply panicked and bottled the defending.

As for a Psychologist .... just get a couple of straight jacket men for Sandy. He needs locking up !

I think it is you lot that need locking up, if you cannot see what is unfolding before your eyes.

Sandy...you are the most inconsistent poster on this board.
Last august I took you to task for saying that Spurs would win everything, the Prem, the FA tin Pot, and the big competition, the CL. Remember?
Now, because our razor thin bench has come home to roost when Pochettino has to put it on the pitch, you are calling for Pochettino to be sacked.
That is just ridiculous ....or as some others have remarked, "entertainment value".

Winning teams have an enforcer, a driver, on the pitch who will not let others relax for one second. They are relentless. We have had a few in our history, but not many - Mackay, Roberts, Mabbutt.
Examples in successful other teams - Keane, Adams, Viera, Souness.
Historical analysis shows the Manager is important, but not as much as the on field general, and we simply don't have one.

I agree.
Looking over the squad, Vertonghen seems to be the most likely general, but he's not exactly an enforcer type.
Maybe Sissoko will take on that role, now he's got his mojo back?
Of course, there will be big squad changes next season...so back to square one!

I have been very consistent all season Ted, Poch should have had this squad winning things this year, and I have been saying for ages, he is not good enough, and needs moving on.

Who picked that defence then Ted? Poch. And you think the sun shines out of his arris.

Well you tell me what defense you would have picked?
Trippier?
Davies?
Toby - injured.
Aurier - injured.
You choose! let here your wisdom!

Same defence as midweek. None of Toby, Aurier or Davies were injured, they were all stupidly rested by our stupid manager Mr Pochettino.

No psychologist needed. There are better teams than you. Not buying any players and expecting to do better than those with already better squads who bought players is incredibly naive.

You should still make top 6 in my opinion.
