Pathetic Courts fail again

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/birmingham-city-fan-pleads-guilty-to-assaulting-aston-villa-midfielder-jack-grealish-a4088251.html%3famp

What f*****g joke. This was the time to set a real example and deter sc*m like this and as usual British justice fail miserably. 3 pitch invasions isnt enough. Genuine assault in front of the world by a guy withput the b@115 to run up to Grealish in front of him. The sad depressing thing it'll take a bl**dy murder of a player and then the guilty party will probably only get 2 years.

It's three and a half months. Be out in 7 weeks if he keeps his nose clean, then on license. He'll have a criminal record that he has to declare for a number of years and forever if ever he has to go for a job that require a disclosure. Bit of money on top of that.

I think 10 year football ban is light if true. Should absolutely be banned for life.

14 weeks is harsh. If he'd done it in a bar or on a night out he wouldn't have got anywhere near that.

Really....facker should've got 18 months

Why? Because it was at a football game? Not really the way the law works. You shouldn't get more for the same offence based on it happening to a famous person or at a big event.

It's probably about right. My guess is he didn't expect to go to jail. Now he knows, and it'll affect him for life. And might just dissuade others like him. Moron.

Think the FA also needs to do something to send a message. Think they will. Unlike the SFA who seem to be all words and no action; the amount of missiles and abuse going on in some Scottish games is appalling.
