I'm clutching at straws I know, but what is the likelihood of Spurs losing four games to the same team in the same season? I would have thought that the odds would be quite high, even if that team is Man City.
Therefore, by the law of probabilities I think we will at the very least get a "result" in one of the remaining 3 games. The "result" could be a win or a draw.
If we can somehow scrape a win at home in the first leg of the CL, then it's game on.
If we lose both CL games, then I think we'll get a result in the PL game and that would be a bonus for our top 4 challenge.
So perhaps in not all doom and gloom?!

I couldn't care less if we won our game against them in the league when we lose both games against them in the CL. That would be hugely disappointing. Top 4 is great and we need it, but the only thing filling me with excitement at the moment is the chance to progress in the CL, since that's the only thing we can win a trophy in.

Spurs need to lose to City in the league in order to stop the scousers from winning the title, so they can get some good practice in by losing to them in the CL too

We could draw al three games and still be in the CL semi finals and top 4 of the league.
Personally I could not care less if City had 5 Messi and 5 Ronaldos playing for them and 5 Peps managing them. They are still only Man City.
