Harry Wilson nominated for EFL young player of the year. Max Bird Championship apprentice of the year.

How about a team award Derby Promoted. Could only be by the playoffs now.

Had a good spell before Christmas but has been off the boil since then. Basically if his left foot isn't producing the goods, he isn't an asset to the team. Thought he was improving in the Stoke game and may benefit when we have Mount/Bryson back in the team.

The 'form book' will say he showed lots of early promise but faded towards the run-in, (yet to see how well he actually finishes).

BTW, are young players now referred to as "apprentices" so they only have to pay them £148 a week?

I was on nearly that as a 16 year old 40 years ago!

Seems overly generous and no wonder young players get their heads turned on ridiculous salaries. Let's keep it real - I mean who really needs £148 a week

hasn't wilson played well this season ?

Hi Peks, He was excellent before Christmas but then faded. He is not that great just as a midfield player but he had a superb left foot - for shots, passes and free kicks - but all that seems to have gone for the last 3 months. Just lately I can see why a few Liverpool fans were dubious about him. Maybe he will improve if Mount and Bryson get back to playing.

thanks lads

I keep an eye on Wilson, as I used to watch him play at LFC academy, from 9 to around 18

Let’s be right to the lad; Wilson’s been our only threat since the injuries forced Mount and #CB4 out of the XI, and that makes him the main focus of the oppo’s attentions... that doesn’t necessarily translate to a ‘dip in form’ but prior to the injuries elsewhere nobody could afford to double-up on him.
