Jorginho played well, really well.

Commented as such...his best game thus far...seems Brighton didn't get the memo and left him on his own to do what he wanted.
Let's see what West Ham do

He played well earlier in the season!

The difference in Jorginho when he's given the freedom to play like a proper Regista is enormous. He's an OK deep lying playmaker, but when he advances beyond the CM's occupying a hybrid no.10 role he really has the quality to run the show.
People can criticize him all they want, fact is there's a direct correlation between his impact in games and the quality of our football this season. Wednesday night was beautiful football (not just the goals), and it's because other dynamic threats on the pitch broke the opposition's chains on him - why Loftus-Cheek HAS to be first choice LCM now.
I'm telling everyone, if we get the chance to substantially improve the squad this summer, giving opposition more to focus on than just Jorginho, we'll see a completely different player next season. He's a specialist player, but if the components are there he's as good a playmaker as anyone in Europe right now.
