Another day passes

And with it another sickly article on the BBC about Liverpool’s Destiny.

Southampton, it’s time for you to stand up and be counted. All those years of them coming in to poach any of your players who showed a bit of promise, even though really, they weren’t doing any better than you at the time. The potential lost red and white legends. The cheers of “feeder club, feeder club".

Generations of Scousers, nineties babies, noughties babies and teenies who have never seen their club lift the domestic title. This is your time to stand up, be counted, and take your place on the right side of history.

May your goalkeepers handling be strong, may your centre backs heading nullify the barrage of long balls, and may you not make minimal contact with Salah or Mane.

This is your time.

If somehow Liverpool do manage to win the league it'll be one title in five years for City which all things considered is a bit sh!t really isnt it.

This has turned into a classic Liverpool thread. I bet some of them on here weren’t even born last time they were champions and they still give it large

I was. How old were you when City lifted old big ears?

Credit to City in fairness. Carry on as they are it’ll only take them another 35-40 years to catch us up in the league.

it would be funny to see the meltdowns all across 606 if liverpool won the big double and city only got the little one.

I love all these Pool mugs quoting trophy counts, the trophies of years gone by are the exact and only reason most of them follow the Mousers, otherwise they have absolutely no connection with Liverpool whatsoever.

It takes a quite sad and pathetic individual to follow a club for those reasons alone.
