The Title: Omens, Fortune & Palace Factor™

It's definitely crunch time now.

Watching Man City's cautious, risk averse, energy preservation tactics yesterday against a limited Brighton side has given me some encouragement.

Pressure is definitely mounting on City. They seemed relieved just to get over the line. Why didn't they wrap it up earlier? Being overly cautious can inhibit. Pep keeps publicly playing down their prospects in all competitions but you know that he really wants it. Seems to me the fear of losing has taken hold; see how the goals have dried up.

Could 14th & 24th April be the moments of truth for his team??

Could it be City's turn to experience the unique pleasures of an adverse Palace away day?

Could Spurs dip a fly in Pep's expensively developed ointment?

And with Ole at the wheel of the 'Franchise Fun Bus'® when Pep & company drop in to resume hostilities, could it be a derby too far for Pep's exhausted troops??

Our last 2 wins have been massive in terms of momentum & belief.

Fortune favours the brave.

Are City brave enough??? I know we are.

Thoughts??

I think Pool need to win every game. Can only see City missing out once, if that.

We do, for sure. I just hope it doesn't come down to GD

Imagine if we end up level on points on the last day with a similar goal difference, and it all comes down to who scores more in the last game.

The title is in our own hands.
Don’t need Liverpool to drop any more points.
If we win our remaining 6 games, we will be champions.
But you can keep your hopes alive and think only City run the risk of dropping points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't think you're winning all 6 of your remaining games though.

Draw a couple & then we'll see how many points Liverpool need.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We gave you a head start of 7 points in December.
Don’t by bbcgreedy.

Well, the points are on the board going into the next round of fixtures. Let's see what happens.

It would be a fantastic achievement if Liverpool do win the title this season but I haven't spoken to anyone who can confidently call the outcome of the remaining fixtures.

I'm prepared to expect anything after the way some of the games have ended.

Not necessarily. Brighton have conceded the fewest home goals outside the top five. Palace have the second fewest in fact, interesting.

I would still think there's more of a chance of them sweeping up against Brighton than you against Wolves, infact it's quite possibly the worst fixture you could have if you need a win for the title.

We'll see.

I can think of worst fixtures than Wolves at home for our last game.

Both teams end up playing 2-2-6 formation

Good results tonight.

Fine 2-0 home win for us.

Interesting 1-0 away loss for City including a pen miss.
Let's see how they approach next few games. Massive 2nd leg for them now - no resting on the bench for that one now!!!
