Whether Barca were just poor, or we contained them well(high press), it was very frustrating that we couldn't create much.
If we had a better RB than Young, I'm sure better crosses would have been delivered into the box, he got into some good situations last night. His passing and crossing was woeful.
Not sure how true these stats are but...
@utdarena
Tonight, Ashley Young lost possession a total of 32 times and attempted 11 crosses with 0 meeting their target. No player on the pitch lost possession more or had a worse crossing rate than him.
Abysmal. Play Dalot over him next game. Bring in Martial LW.
Special mention for McTominay who was fantastic last night. He's been very good last few games, I much prefer him over Matic, who is slow and laboured.
Fred played well too, I can see him continuing to improve. We are not out of it, but Barca at home are a different animal entirely.
Frustrating

"Put Dalot RB"
He looked a little lost too tbh. At least Young has conviction in his decision making.

Young is going to be starting the away leg either RB or LB as Shaw got himself suspended

Thought that booking was harsh compared to some of the fouls the likes of Young, Busquets and Messi got away with.

"They battered spurs at Wembley."
Battered them 1-1?
Barca hadn't won away from home in the CL until last night if I'm not mistaken?

They beat us 4-2 at Wembley. It was 1-1 at Nou Camp.

They ran rings around Spurs at Wembley and beat them 4-2
Half their players didn’t play at the Nou Camp or at least didn’t start.
They are still favourites for the competition for me and the best side in it.

4-2 at Wembley, should have been more. Rested most of the first team in the return match with nothing to play for, 1-1.
