Online ID change

OK, enough about electric cars, back to PS4. This has been one of the most requested items for people using the Playstation, the ability to change your username.

Well at last Sony have made it happen, but is not without it's problems, so be warned. Although the ability to change your username is simple enough and free the first time, doing so can unfortunately render some games unplayable. although you can revert back to your old ID to solve the problem.

Anything published after April 1st 2018 should be fine, but games older than that is a bit of a lottery. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

This is why it has taken Sony so long to implement it, as it was fraught with issues.

Hey Amiga, I was going to do the id change but saw all the warnngs so decided against it. I'm still playing loads of older games, in fact all the games I'm currently playing are over a year old so I'm assuming it's not often the risk to change ?

It's an option Superb, I'm sticking with my ID for now, not worth the hassle.

But remember your old ID will still be available, should a change prove problematic.

Think I'll stick as well. Not sure it's worth the hassle either, even if I can revert to my old id
