My recent Malta trip was with TC, just the flights though. Couldn't check in online for reasons unknown, girlfriend got in touch with their customer services on Twitter to try and find out why and they had no idea. So checked in at airport 1990's style. No hassle as it transpired.

Yeah, still a market for the off the beaten path tour group stuff but you don't need a brochure these days with tinternet the way it is though obviously the savvy companies jumped on that train long ago.

I remember the good old days of flicking through brochures looking for the more exotic far flung places

Well St George was from Turkey, (Cappadocia), having been born to Greek parents. He moved to Syria with his mother after his father died. He never actually came anywhere near England.
