get sin bins in another thing Rugby use well, 10 mins without your gker for time wasting would do the trick. Also sorts out those dodgy harsh red cards, just give em 10 mins time out.

Because so little (if any) time is added teams will continue to do this. The solution is quicker bookings for offenders and taking time keeping away from the ref.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
solution is a person with a stopwatch and 35 minute halves, time is stopped everytime the ball is not in play and resumed once it is. Apparently the average time ball is in play is around 60 minutes so 30 a half would be fair but as fans we deserve better so it should be 35. I've not watched Rugby in a long time but im sure even then they were doing it, how far behind the times football is
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Even with the clock stopping the ball is in play in rugby about 50% of the time.

Stopping the clock seriously needs looking at in Football. The amount of time that gets wasted by the ball being out of play is not right. It's going to be ridiculous with VAR next season.

The next thing in football that needs addressing is time wasting. There is no need for it, how its still possible and seen every weekend in the premier league in 2k19 in itself is an absolute joke.

Teams like Brighton and Burnley games are like 40 minutes of the ball being in play
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some sort of minus point situation implemented.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Or just stop the clocks and add the time on at the end of each half and be firm with it, plus toughen up on bookings for it. Having said that. Matt Ryan's antics were bloody irritating and I've seen keepers against Leeds do the same most weeks, however, tactically, he is helping his teammates to rest, recover and reorganise. So it's not that bad in all honesty.

yeah agree it can't be that difficult for a forth official to manage the clock and stop it when the ball is not live in play.

I honestly don’t understand why this hasn’t already been automated.

E.g. 10 seconds for a goal kick or free kick, 5 seconds for a throw in. Take longer if you like, but be aware that additional seconds are added to a total being tracked on a computer.

Can see absolutely no issue with doing this, much more transparent and fair system. Takes a job off the officials’ backs too.
