Thought it was a yellow personally but wouldn’t have complained overly with a red, thought it looked a lot worse in slo mo than it was. Him and Perreira were going at each other all game, there was a fair bit of animosity between them.

You raise a good point - thought Silva was lucky not to be carded for his first challenge on Perreira.

It was definitely a red card last night.

However, in the cold light of day this morning, it was nothing more than a yellow. David Silva just isn't that kind of player.

The FA have said no action will be taken.
Would be funny to see the reaction of the wider football community, and the FA in particular, if Phil Bardsley decides to do the same to Silva on Sunday.

Yes that brutal attack on Alisson when he ran towards him and gave him a bear hug was much worse than kicking a player in the ribs. It was sheer racism.

Sterling ran into fans which caused them to invade the pitch. Klopp ran towards his keeper and hugged him. Completely different.
