Again seems to be made the scapegoat for last night.
Now I’m not saying for a second he’s been blameless for our poor form or that he deserves to be in the PFA team but he seems to be one everyone blames when things go wrong.
People calling for him to be sold need a reality check.
He has dross all around him in this team.
Pogba is a player (like most others) that needs quality around him to perform. We’ve seen at Juve and France he can be excellent on the big stage.
As I said he’s not blameless and deserves some criticism but you swap him with Gundogan, Bernardo or David Silva last night and he would prosper in that City team while they would struggle at United.
Lads like Martial and Rashford are spared some of the criticism but the reality is Pogba has more good games than these two put together and was twice the player they are when he was there age.
This squad needs a major shake up but selling Pogba would be another backwards step.

Uniteds best player by miles, he is top quality surrounded by mostly utter dross.
It's not like they need to sell to buy so there's absolutely no reason to get rid of him.

Pogba needs someone. Like zlatan around to urge him on. He isn't a leader.
For me though the problem is likes of rashford. Really don't see the fuss. He has pace and that's it

We are in a collective loss of form and confidence. Now is not the time to be assessing each player on a one by one basis, imho.
People suddenly wanting the likes of DDG, Martial and Rashford sold should try and see the bigger picture.

I don't want Martial or Rashford sold. They need to step up.
I do not want De Gea sold to be honest but hes one player that we could sell for good money to bolster the squad.
He does not look happy and has made poor mistakes this season.

Pogba. Please compare him with Son. One could argue, with justification, that Pogba is the all round better player.
Some say that Pogba plays better when he has more quality around him. Spurs have just lost the England captain, Kane, and how has Son performed? He's upped his game with devastating effect.
Compare and contrast the City v. Spurs and the City v. ManU games of recent weeks, and Son's input in particular. Then compare this with Pogba's. No contest.
What to do with him? For all his undoubted skill, at this moment in time where your club finds itself, he's the proverbial square peg in the round hole.
The sign of a great player is one who ups his game when the team are foundering. Pogba isn't that player.

The likes of Ji who is usually a great poster should know better than most that talent without a great attitude is no help to us right now.

Other than courting Real Madrid (which I hate from any player), I think the "bad attitude" thing is just lazy scapegoating.
I've watched the lad since he was 16 and know he is not and never will be a roy of the rovers type, so I don't lose my schit when he doesn't play like a roy of the rovers type.
As I said, we are collectively in a bad place right now and pointing fingers at one or two players is ludicrous.

There does seem to be a lot of looking for a silver bullet at the minute, be it Woodward, the coach or individual players. I don't think it exists though, there is a myriad of things that need to be sorted.
It's getting the fundamentals in place, which tend to be behind the scenes such as getting the accountabilities right and ensuring the manager is set up for success. The squad transition isn't going to be a simple one or easily achievable in the short term, there has to be a long term plan that everyone is bought into.

Yep, this is what worries me about the lust for a DoF... Don't get me wrong, i think we need one, but I think a lot of people think that once we have one, all issues will quickly be solved, whereas the reality is that getting a DoF will just be the start of a long rebuilding process that could still see the club make big mistakes.
Hopefully the Ole appointment was a step towards a clear view for the long term future.

You don’t to be Roy of the rovers to put in some effort
No one is expecting him to be superman for us. But we do expect the bare minimum

Yea, the "lazy" tag is just a lazy opinion, imho. He is playing no less or more in intensity than he ever has done, for us, France or Juve.
You can all point to players that are skilled AND run like mad, but it's not his game. Maybe the manager should be telling him to run around more, but I have a sneaky feeling that managers know better than that and know which players have expendable energy and which need to use their energy in fits and bursts.
Melton is here, and may disagree with this... But the (more limited) times I saw Yaya Toure play, he would not be constantly running and pressing, but would seem to save his energy for shorter, powerful bursts (and before anyone starts, I am ONLY comparing this one aspect of their game).
