The liverpool echo have disputed that liverpool's wage bill is about City's because the City wage bill only covers half as many staff as Liverpool's with the rest being paid through other subsidiaries.

They’re wrong, all of the CFG staff that work for us have to be charged back to us, it was in the UEFA statement five years ago.

How on earth have you got that many staff though? That’s crazy, we’re not even on that including the CFG and that covers six clubs.

Yep, seems about right - Klopp the organic manager that grows his players in his allotment and hates spending money has actually spent about 400 million nicker on players and has the second highest wage bill in England.

Moronic thinking..

Value of the squad v cost of building it?

Mane and Salah easily 140m each.. that covers the entire team cost.

Don't worry about obsessing about the league's top team, worry about your own team.

It's all the goal bonuses..

Chelsea wouldn't know about those.

If that is the case then the cost will be charged back to you, but it still wont come under the wage bill. It will be another expense. So the Echo article would be right

It was split between the two depending on who or what it was (them saying about the executives for instance I don’t think is right at all).

There’s an assumption there too that your numbers of staff are the norm as well, which isn’t necessarily the case (Spurs for example gave less than we report). I’d
be interested to know what they think is outsourced from us that isn’t from others as well and included in that as the other expenses isn’t that big a differentiator between ourselves and others.

Mate your club outsourced part of Mancinis salary to a 3rd company in the middle east.

Ah ok. Sorry, I’m only talking about the published accounts. If you’re talking about that then fair enough if it’s true, which I’m reserving judgment on.
