My kinda summer window

A list I’ve been working on the last couple of days, that I wanted to share with you guys..

I won’t argue on each of the players pros and cos, but a few sentences is included!
Simply won't make this a super long thread, but name the players and what to pay for them. The ManUtd board probably won’t be positive to the spending I think that we all believe is required.

The list is mostly PL-proven players, believe that is a good mix to bring in also.
Please don’t troll comment the price tags, we all know it’s silly days in football. (Values from transfermarkt)

Ryan Fraser – Bournemouth – PL proven - £18m

Callum Wilson – Bournemouth – Great partnership with Fraser and would company well with Rashford, as Wilson currently doing with Joshua King in a 4-4-2 - £25m

Diogo Jota – Wolves – Young and PL proven, great at those breaks £18m

Rúben Neves – Wolves – Young and PL proven £40m
I know what you’re thinking, we haven’t yet brought in a CB or a RB

Alderweireld - £25 m (met release clause)

Mounier - £ 35 m

Koulibaly - £ 70 m

Eriksen 85 m

Total £ 298 m , estimates seems a little bit to low  Add another 25% into fees £ 370 m

Bring Dean Henderson into first team

Lukaku – Out - £ 85 m
De Gea – Out - £ 70 m
Jones – Out - £ 20 m
Bailly – Out - £ 30 m
Mata – Out – free transfer
Herrera – Out – free transfer
Matic - try to sell
Total £ 205m
Unlikely high income from sales, reduced by 20%, £ 164 m

………………………………Henderson/Romero…………………………
Dalot/Mounier..…....…Toby.........……… Koulibaly..........…….....Shaw
……………………..Neves/Fraser………….Pogba©……………………..
Jota/Lingard…………………..Eriksen………………………Martial/Sanchez
…………………………………..Rashford/Wilson………………………….
Make Pogba captain, make Shaw vice captain.

Bench:
1. Smalling (OK defender)
2. Sanchez (Let's face it - we won't get rid of him)
3. Lingard (OK winger/mid)
4. Wilson
5. Fraser
6. Dalot
7. Romero
8. Young (After all very veratile, but hopefully won’t be playing to much)
9. Andreas P (Not a great player, but we can keep him for now)
10. Fred
11. McT
12. 3rd GK
Total net spend £ 208 m

Would definity be a top 4 team next season and challenge for the EL Throphy/CL Knock out stages, and let’s take the next season after that as it comes, we won't get on the level of Liverpool and ManCity in one window. Follow this up with 1-2 top signings 20/21 season (High value targets) along with the development of the young players we would be a PL challenger + great CL contestant.

Not bad at all OP. I agree. Sign the best of the prem and then start to look outwards.

...as for signing two Bournemouth players...

Stop Wumming.

Explain?

It’s pretty self-explanatory

This is a major issue with some united fans.

It’s true. The amount of nonsense about signing nothing but superstars on here is silky. Lambrau is usually alright, so I’ll cut him some slack here

I don’t have a problem with where the players come from, and I’m done with the obsession with big money signings. We need to spend smart and develop our own talent.

I’m just not convinced Fraser or Wilson are good enough to significantly improve us. Not because they’re Bournemouth players, but because they’re not particularly exceptional in my opinion. Now if you’d said Barnes or Maddison I’d be more open to that. Yarmolenko or Anderson from West Ham. Hell, I reckon Deulofeu would improve us a lot.

Deulofeu I've always quite liked but what sets any of Barnes, Maddison, Anderson and especially Yarmolenko who's been injured for most of his career in England apart from Fraser?

Maddison isn't a wide player anyway but apart from that?

None of them are 'exceptional' either.

Anderson is much better than Fraser.

Fraser Is better than Maddison imo. He’s also not a complete caant like Maddison either. Yarmelenko is a good shout..

What is it that makes him 'much better'?

I'm not advocating signing Fraser btw, just interested to know.

When mentioning Bournemouth players it’s weird people are forgetting their best talent - David Brooks

My opinion does, alright sunshine?

More goals, more assists in a worse side.
