Mass walk out at the London Stadium.

Due to the Premier League being total jobsworths and refusing to bring today's final home game forward to lunchtime, I along with many others will be joining the half time walk out to make my way to the Women's F.A Cup final at Wembley against Man City.

Stupid decision by the authorities after West Ham requested an early kick off.

Totally sympathise with you on this. Premier League and broadcasters do nothing for the match going fan
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst it's the fans that are ultimately crapped on from a great height, that statement isn't totally true. The broadcasters are the ones giving each Premier League team £100M+ every season to spend on shiny new players for you all to go and watch. In return for that payment they get to choose what games they want to show whenever they want.

The game could quite easily revert back to all games kicking off on Saturdays at 3pm, but you wouldn't be seeing the Hazards, Salahs and De Bruynes of this world in your teams, because nobody would have a pot to p-ss in.

You want cake? Then eat it.

Thank you preacher ,guess you are just an armchair fan then. I wouldn't touch Sky with a barge pole.

You guess wrong. Season ticket holder for my club. Though quite how you arrived at the conclusion you have from my comment is anyone's guess.

Hate Sky all you want. I don't have it either. That does not alter the fact that they and other broadcasters pay each Premier League club over £100M every single season. I aren't preaching, just giving you a simple explanation as to exactly why they have the right to broadcast and move matches whenever they see fit. You don't have to like it, but before you next think about moaning about it, just remember they, along with other broadcasters, are paying off a sizeable chunk of your annual wage bill.

Man City women are in different league though we gave them a good fight.

Coming to the walkout, it's a same kind of thing that many Brexit people march every Saturday from Trafalgar Square to the downing Street. We have to accept and move on.

You are not telling me anything I didn't know about why Sky et Al can change fixtures but I think you have missed the salient point.
The Man City Leicester game was changed about 2 months ago from the 3 o clock Saturday to the early tv slot for Saturday. It seems to be a principle that around 2 months is the amount of notice given. At that point the match going fan can start to plan for the game. It was then changed again ,less than 2 weeks ago for no valid reason other than the PL had sanctioned fixture changes for two other clubs.
You appear to be saying that broadcasters can re schedule any particular game as many times as they like with hardly any notice, if you are happy about that then fine. I am not , one fixture change should be enough unless there are compelling reasons for another change and in this case , there wasnt.
The original post was about the PL not agreeing to a request from WHU to move their 3 o clock non TV game to an early kick off for good reasons and it wouldn't have affected anybody ,certainly not a broadcaster, but the PL refused , but changed two other matches that same weekend for reasons I can understand.

I totally understand the fans concern on this though. The change for our game against United today clashes with this ridiculous Tour de Yorkshire nonsense. I live on the route so there's no way I can get to the game. Obviously they don't think about things like that.

How was our fixture changed to 7:45 on a Sat night when we play the second leg against Barca on a Tuesday?

This makes no sense.

I think Liverpool were scheduled to play Sunday but the PL ,for the first time ever , moved both Spurs ( to a friday)And 'pool to Saturday to give you more time to prepare for 2nd leg CL semi finals.
I can understand the PL logic but I think they felt obliged to do something as the Dutch FA cancelled all the weekend games to help Ajax.
My point is that the City Leicester game doesn't affect Spurs or Pool and there was no valid reason to change it

Spurs played yesterday, not on Friday.

Is there much advantage in moving our game from a Sunday to late Saturday night?

Only reason why I can think they moved the City game to a Monday is Sky had a MNF fixture to fill. Was it Spurs originally due to play Bournemouth on the Monday?
