I think the big man he has proven why he should never have been dropped for that walloper Worrall in the first place. Katic and Goldson looked like a partnership together from day one and the recent games have just reinforced that.
It is no coincidence that we have only conceded one goal in the past five games. The back four just looks calmer and more assured. Worrall brought a nervousness to the defence that was well justified IMO.
For me Katic is a defender where as Worral thinks he is a footballer. If we can polish off the rough edges in Katics game then there is no reason he cant go on to be a very good player for us.
Hopefully SG will put this down as a lesson learned about bringing in guys on loan deals which stipulate mandatory minimum appearance levels.
