Champions League Final thread (joint)

Magnificent week for the supporters of our respective teams, here's a go at making a joint thread for the two finalists, Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC.

We are through to the final of the biggest club competition in the WORLD! All eyes of the world will be on us thats magnificent, and the way the two clubs got through to the final was facking eye-watering stuff, legends all of them come what may (ok we battered Messi and co) but Spurs did a number on Ajax in that second half when you seemed buried.

Keep the banter solid but good natured, Sandy, unfilter me and join in.. Billy - give it a facking rest yeah, you get pretty boring.

More than the banter, there will be a few of us, hopefully a good few that will get down to Madrid, share your stories, travel plans and stuff, which could hopefully lead to some of us sharing a drink at some stage (before the match, after would be too gut wrenching whatever the outcome)

Share best laid plans to get to Madrid as well, I know Palmers is looking at going, I will be too with jnr in tow.

Fans of none finalists, keep your nose out, Gooners and CFC fans, hopefully you can have your own finalist thread by this evening.

Everyone who is going let’s have your experiences written that shows the below to be true :

Good read and sounds as though you’re still delighted you went and experienced it despite the result. That’s what football is about for me.

Yeah of course you’ll be bitterly disappointed you didn’t win but the memories you’ve created being there with fellow fans in the streets will last forever.

Think that’s really my point when some fans come on the spurs board giving it saying “yeah but what have you won". These people don’t tend to go to games. The season and football isn’t solely about a trophy. I’ve enjoyed many games and nights an AWFUL lot more than the 2008 league cup. Don’t remember that day all that fondly particularly. Sure it was good. But I can vividly recall others and they still make me smile.

Anyway. Yes, it wasn’t the ending to the trip you hoped for but you and your boy will reminisce about that for a long time to come.

Seen a report that police have started to be heavy handed..

Probably want to go home and have started to get venues emptied..

Spurs were in that game right until Origi scored, and Allison kept us at 1-0 from around the 70th minute.

Nowhere close to being as comfortable as 2-0 sounds.

Feeling for Moura, to be left out for Kane.
