As there are many posts in various threads discussing this I though I'd start a new one. The below (other than BPF) doesn't count U23s.
Casilla - Get Rid, mentally he just doesn't have it.
BPF - Keep, back up
Ayling - Keep, wasteful in the final third BUT that isn't his primary role, he defended excellently last night and his jinking runs helped spring attacks, has been very good these past 6 weeks IMO.
Berra - Get Rid, when will people see past the fist pumping chest out, he isn't good enough. Wreckless and cost us AGAIN with a Red Card.
Douglas - Keep, people underestimate the balance he gives us and the quality of his balls down the line etc.
Alioski - Keep, one of my players of the season since moving to LB, wasteful like Ayling but just his energy really helps the team, he's everywhere.
Cooper - Keep, last night wasn't his fault entirely (peno was), quality CB at this level.
Pontus - Keep, enough said
Phillips - Keep, build the team around him, Roberts, Clarke and Shack.
Dallas - Get Rid, amazing last night but in a position where he is likely to be third choice, he is not a good enough winger so why keep him?
Bamford - Get Rid, enough said
Roofe - Keep, he makes the team play the way its supposed too, come of age this season imo
Klich - Keep, tries too much when we are struggling, think he struggled with playing every game tbh.
Pablo - Our best player in 10 years, BUT is he so tired / lacking confidence he can't take set pieces? Needs a rest and a 30 game season to be effective.
Forshaw - dependent on wages BUT I would keep as back up, should not start.
My team for the future would be (based on people we have)
New Keeper
Ayling - Pontus - Coops - Alioski
Phillips
Shackleton - Pablo - Roberts - Clarke
Roofe
Bench BPF, Klich, Douglas,Forshaw
Purchases
1 x GK
1 x CB
2 x Winger
1 x ST
1 x AM
Keep / Sell

Don't get me wrong, I'm not calling for Dallas to start. Just in a squad that has recently had a bench with an average age of 19, I'd keep a player of his experience. Showed he can perform when needed.

1 x GK - Huffer
1 x CB - Halme
2 x Winger - can't think of anyone off the top of my head
1 x ST - Edmondson
1 x AM - Saiz (he's only out on loan, remember)
Most of our transfer activity is signing youth players to bolster our academy.
From what I've seen, quite a few of them are ready for the first team.

Blame, thought he looked okay when he played, not long enough to judge.
Saiz, he won’t be back playing. I really doubt it. Gutted he left but more gutted at our ineptitude. No money up front and no replacement.

Agree with AZA, especially that Spanish keeper who should be going back to where he came from.

I'm looking forward to seeing Malik return to the fold. We know what we need. We also know that Radz doesn't have a proverbial pot. Where are we going to get the money from, unless we sell? I am sure Pontus, Roofe, Kalvin and even Shacks will be on the radar of Premier League Clubs.

Agree with pretty much all of that, except about Dallas. He's a useful guy to have around, adaptable, good work rate, positive and cheerful and sometimes shows a touch of class.

Bamford has had a poor end to the season no doubt but cut the overreaction for god sake, he is a good player

AZA you certainly see things differently

Bamford has never settled anywhere and I think the last few games have shown why clubs were happy to let him go. Get rid (be lucky to find anyone to take him!)
