Rangers are rumoured to be interested in Derby County LB Max Lowe on loan next season.
After spending a season on loan at Aberdeen, McInnes is keen to get him back on loan for next season but interest from Rangers has complicated matters.
Derby have supposedly made it clear he is not for sale but may consider another loan.
I thought he stood out for Aberdeen when we played them and would definitely have taken him on a permanent deal, not sure a loan with us makes the most sense considering he would almost certainly have reduced game time at Rangers in comparison with Aberdeen.
If he's prepared to take that risk and come and battle with Barasic for first choice i wouldn't be against the deal. Pashing Aberdeen off makes the deal more appealing than normal Thoughts?

It is almost ludicrous to suggest that Rangers could have won the title this season

i dont think it is tbh hamish.
rangers should be beating the rest, as should celtic. the old firms were split evenly so it was poor performances elsewhere that cost you.
now i have watched rangers this season and in honesty, they are a far more entertaining watch than celtic.
how we are on course for a treble i do not know.

I think the inconsistency that cost us was inevitable though. There was always going to be ups and downs for Rangers this season. The Manager would make mistakes along the way but hopefully learn from them.
This is a new group of players. Some signings weren't going to work. Guys like Ejaria and Sadiq have been and gone.
Coulibally and Barisic showed initial promise but ultimately came to nothing.
This is all part of shaping a squad and getting a rhythm going. There was far too much upheaval for us this season to expect to have the consistency that is required to win a league.
The fact celtic weren't amazing throughout doesn't really matter. Because the winning mentality the club has took you over the line in those three extra matches that turned late draws into wins.
In the end that is all it came down to in the league.

Poor performances coupled with a lack of game changers/winners.
You have players used to winning and have players like Forrest who can turn a draw into a win.
We don't have that and is the quality we need to add imo.

Spot on bluenose - players go on and off the boil so guys like rogic Forrest Sinclair McGregor Edouard Tierney might be struggling st times but with that quality games where it’s a struggle can still be won. Rangers need a few of this type of quality to really compete.

I would have genuinely been astonished if Rangers had won the league this season.
We were so far behind Celtic last season on and off the park it was ridiculous.
We definitely should have done better in the domestic cups. Would have liked to seen how a Scottish Cup semi against Celtic would have panned out. That would have been a cracker.

means nothing if you buy right, i've seen celtic teams turned round e.g. barnes and then go on an win a treble.
to not even get to a cup final is poor from rangers.
