By the way I don't think we'll get him though. I think there's more in the De Ligt rumours than this one. Griezmann is 28 now and I suspect he'll want a crack at the CL sooner rather than later. He'll have a better chance at Barca than us in the next few years.

I hope that’s true VC, but throwing the chequebook at de ligt suggests otherwise, and that we haven’t learned anything from previous mistakes.

Tbh, Cavani wouldn't be the worst signing. He's not long term obviously but the fella knows how to score a goal and works phenomenally hard for the team.

It's settled then:

Cavani to United
Griezmann to PSG
De Ligt to Barca
Umtiti to United

I think Griezmann gets a bit of a bad press because he seems a bit of a(haliwr) but I think he'd be very effective at United in the right set up. He's not a flashy player but certainly knows where the goal is and is on another level technically compared to Lukaku.
