Blood and Truth PSVR review

With Everybody's Golf, Creed Rise to glory and now Blood and Truth, I have been spoiling myself with VR recently. Out today It is another heavily touted VR game, that is based around a demo in VR worlds called London Heist.

It was a short but enjoyable experience which left many PSVR users wanting more. That more is Blood and Truth.

This game comes into it's own with Move controllers, which you will use to hold and load guns, the loading mechanic works really well.running out of bullets grabbing another clip and sliding it into the gun feels great, and adds to the urgency you feel as you move through buildings taking out bad guys.

The Move controllers aren't just for shooting, they are used for climbing. throwing. lock picking etc. You play as Ryan Marks, who it is fair to say has seen his fair share of combat, just the sort of guy needed when the bullets start flying.

Being based in London, the story has a lot of over the top London accents, following a story of a hostile takeover of the family business. it is not going to win any movie awards but it does it's job. Moving past cut the scenes you are thrown into situations inevitably leading to various shootouts. The movement however is not free running, you have certain places you can go, looking in that direction and pressing the move button, moves you to that place, taking out various enemies as you go.

I must admit to suffering a little motion sickness, not too bad, but I could imagine anyone prone to it will find it a little uncomfortable. Fair to say although I haven't finished it the game is a blast, and as a VR experience it is a lot of fun. and a worthy addition to the VR family.
