It was the game everyone was looking forward to.
Saturday 1st June has been on everyone’s lips for weeks now.
It didn’t disappoint
In a terrifically entertaining match JA Scotland emerged victorious after a hard fought match v a technically excellent Spanish expat team.

The game started frantic with both teams adjusting to playing 11’s but it was Scotland who struck first through Mick.
A dodgy penalty gifted Spain an equaliser after some horrendous refereeing (we suspect the ref was related to some of the Spaniards).
A lot of subs kept the legs fresh but gave a disjointed approach to the first half which Spain controlled for most of the first 40.
Second half the game settled down and Scotland started to control it better. Goals from NNH 2 and Jimmy Jnr 2 gave Scotland a comfortable lead before Call Sign killed the game as a competition with a goal in the last 20 mins.
Spain had two goals disallowed for offside before a late finish gave the last 5 minutes some edge.
In the end it was a deserved win for Scotland and Spain will want their revenge next year.
Huge thanks to all for playing. A great game, full of laughter and some great bits of skill.
Thanks to Gingernuts for officiating and handling the torrent of abuse he received from the sidelines.
Hard to pick a man of the match between the 3 defenders, Smid and NNH2.
