My normal “hopes” at the start of every season are Top 4 and/or a Trophy, and I’m glad we’re back in Europe.

Yeah me too. Desperate for a trophy. It’s just unacceptable that we’ve won a single trophy in nearly a quarter of a century

I’m hoping some of these young players come good. I hope ange uses them over the likes of royal and los celso if they’re still around

Really hope that the hold up on the deals we have lined isn’t Dani Olmo going to Barca because that means we’d be getting Raphina and I really don’t want that. Eze would be the one I’d want, then Neto.

We’re not getting Eze. There will be many clubs willing to pay more than us. If we were serious about getting him, we could have paid the release clause, whatever it is in whatever instalments it is.

It’s just not what levy does. Surely everyone knows this by now?

Same goes for Neto. We won’t pay Wolves what they will demand.

We might get Toney on deadline day, but any of these other big signings people are taking about is just pie in the sky

Such utter, utter nonsense. The three players I’m talking about wanting are Eze, Neto and Toney. They play for Palace, Wolves and Brentford respectively. You’re telling me we’re not in with a shout of getting them in? Have a day off. We’re a far bigger club than all three of those put together and by all accounts, only Eze possibly represents a signing that other bigger clubs could come in for. If it’s a straight fight between us and Chelsea these days, we win. He’ll only go somewhere else if City or Arsenal come in for him.

What if all three wanted Champions league football? It would rule us out.

It only rules us out if there is a top 4 club trying to buy them too.

If we are ever in a transfer fight with City LFC Arsenal we're going to be outsiders, UCL or not. But with anyone else we're currently equal of better IMO
