Not really guys but seems to be a trend I have missed on the boards. I have always though he is a p!sh actor (albeit enjoyed JFK & the Untouchables - thankfully there were great actors alongside him). Just watched the film "Criminal'. Thought the film was great despite never having heard of it & Costner was outstanding.
Didn't even recognise him for 1st 10 mins. Just thought him playing a psychopathical killer... Nah, not for me but was unrecognisably brilliant.
Anyway, well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
Oh aye, & Scotland won.

Well now my take on this maybe that, just like I am with Ford, you are taken by their screen presence.
These guys are great Movie Actors.
For me I’ll debate all day how they are better than the De Niro’s, Washingtons and Pacinos on the Big Screen.
I recognise they are better ‘Actors’, but they could never reach the level of screen charisma like a Ford or Cruise or Arnie.
I don’t agree that they are always with great actors making them look good. Yes it happens. No doubt Tommy Lee Jones elevated The Fugitive. But still, they are very good actors.
