If you are Peter Lawwell and Neil Lennon, what would you do now? do you give them a deadline for player to make decision, or do you say we are far bigger than you, and get another target?
12k per week for the lad is huge increase, but he may get more down south. I'm in favour of setting deadline, Wednesday 4pm. or we move on.

Bit of a strange one. He is only a kid at 19 and why I thought a club 20 mins or so from is home town would suit him for the next few years on 10 times his wages and would be preferable to going to somewhere like Southampton at this early stage in his career. Anyway, i think he is being ill-advised, time will tell of course but I hope and trust the club burns this bridge permanently and if he gets homesick we don't go bringing him back up the road. He and his agent can do one and we look elsewhere.
Apparently it was only going to be him or Harper and not both so will be interesting to see if that deal gets pushed through now.
