AD to the Lakers

Massive trade finally gone through.

AD joins Lebron on the Lakers.

Pels receive Lonzo, Ingram, Josh Hart and the 3 first round picks, including this years 4th pick in the draft.

Honestly, i think both sides get a win. When you trade away a superstar you never get full value for it, but in Ingram and Lonzo the pels have 2 players who have the potential to be all NBA. And they get a good young role player in hart that adds some depth. Plus the 4th pick which could get them someone like Culver or Garland to run the bench unit or trade it away and get another player in. Add in Zion and they have a great young side.

And the Lakers get probably the best big man in the league imo, to pair with Lebron and cap space to go get Kemba (who is reportedly the one they’re pushing hard for now) and they crucially managed to keep hold of Kuzma who will be a great scoring option for them and is only earning 2 mil a year.

NBA is wide open now with the warriors decimated due to injury. Could be very interesting next season and to see what free agency brings.

Agree Nick

Next season could be the most open Championship for about a decade

Not if kawaii goes to Lakers then it's a lock!

Kawaii and PG to Clippers. Wow!!

Very balanced league now.

Kawhi ruined Lakers lol So many good free agents went amiss with them waiting on Kawhi who all along was waiting on Clippers securing PG.

Danny Green is a good add but they need to bring in guys like Rondo and Javale back. Maybe risk it with a low contract for Boogie.

Javale is already signed. DMC is hit/miss.

Kawaii really is a boss and a snake, did the Lakers dirtty! Made sure they couldn't use their cap on other FAs.

Lakers sign Cousins and Rondo and Danny Green

Worked out better for them really, can deepen the depth

Although they've done well, they should have gone for depth from the beginning and got better players around AD and LBJ.

I agree in hindsight but if they could have got Kawhii, it would have been worth it - even without a bench.

As LBJ ages/ retires, Kawaii takes over and with AD still in his prime, Lakers would be in a better situation continuity wise after LBJ leaves...

The only player they really missed out on was Seth Curry, and he got overpaid. They were far better spreading the money around like they did, everyone else a little better got overpaid and they would have only been able to get 1 or 2 of those

Danny Green was definitely overpaid. Still, they did very well in spreading out the roster with the rest of the cash they had.
