Pre season

Begins today at Lennoxtown for all players who weren’t involved in International duty the last 2 weeks.

Obviously, there are no new signings joining in today which is a bit embarrassing if we’re being honest. Although I do have a degree of sympathy with the club over the Turnbull saga.

Whilst we’re on that subject, it looks like his agent has come back to the table with Turnbull allegedly the one pushing it. I’m in two minds, I would like the deal done but the last few days have left a sour taste and I’ve a good mind to wish the club told him to do one.

The problem Celtic have is they went down the embarrassing route of airing our issues on twitter and whilst I love the club being open about these things, the tweets were ill-advised, poorly written and at best, petty.

The fact we don’t now appear to be any further down the line with anyone else just yet is worrying but I’ll wait and see how the next 7 days pan out before hitting the panic button.

There are some rumours doing the rounds that Lazio are interested in Edouard but i don’t think we’ll even entertain any buds this summer, maybe January or next summer depending on how things pan out the next 6 months.

Still expect Ntcham to go and I would expect us to get around £10 million so we need to ensure replacements are already in place as we’re going to need everyone firing early doors here.

Anyway, 1st day back at work today acted a week off moving house, stressful week, actually glad to be back working
