The deterioration in him as a player was evident but he could still turn in a performance now and again in a big game, he was magnificent in the cup final just past and his assist was something else.
It was the right time to move on for both parties, however, sounds like another player unhappy at the way it’s all been handled. One is usually sour grapes, 2 is questionable but that’s now 4 in a year.
A guy who’s won 16 trophies in 7 and a half years deserve a bit more class from the club but it doesn’t surprise me one tiny bit just now. Our club is a shambles right now and it’s going to take some serious work over the next 2 weeks to convince me we have the head screwed on regarding this season.
Anyway, cheers to Mika, the man who gave me the greatest moment of my footballing life with that 5th at Ibrox, never seen scenes like it.
