Roy Keane departs!

Inevitable in my eyes. Always likely to get another opportunity as manager somewhere. Just wondering which clubs are currently looking for a manager?...

Is it more to do with the ‘steller’ Signings we are looking at, Alan Hutton, Albert Adomah and Sami Ameobi, hardly world beaters in their day, and at least 2 have well had their day. We are not shopping in the bargain basement, more like the local ‘flea’ market. I am seriously concerned for the direction we are heading. I would have rather kept Jamie Ward than Adomah or Ameobi. I know it’s early days but seriously.

If he does disagree with MON's (target) signings then it is best that he leaves. Can't have a manager and his assistant at loggerheads. But I don't think it is.

The signings, if they do arrive, are underwhelming though. They don't come anywhere near improving the starting eleven; and I'm not sure they improve the squad they just keep it ridiculously oversized and old.

Keane never seemed that committed to Forest. Rarely heard from him during the few months he was here. I’m not that surprised to hear he is off. Hope he has some better success in his next managerial role (unless it is just down the A5-2...)

I think we spent all our money under Karanka. It will probably take downsizing the squad and a couple of seasons before we make premium signings again. Money could have been better spent in some areas but ho hum.
