Forest Sack Martin O’Neill

Just announced. Disaster of a club......

posted on 2/7/19

Can’t see how Forest can reduce the squad to a more manageable level. Karanka gave it as one of his stated aims when he first arrived at the CG but never got near to achieving it. Too many players prepared to sit on their contracts. Club can’t afford to pay them all off like their did with Armand Traore the other year. Sad state of affairs.

I thought Traore was sold to the Turkish club. Rumour was 1 million. Pounds, not lira 😜

Will, not signing any more players will help. Permanent or on loan. We are unlikely to be promoted this season, so as long as we are not relegated it shouldn't be a problem fielding teams from what we have. There must be takers for the likes of Benalouane, Watson, Guedioura etc on loan even if it only knocks a thousand or two of the wage bill.

Being linked with a load of European players. I’m a little concerned it may go the same way as all of those signings under Montanier where none of them were up to the task of playing in the Championship...

At least the clear out has begun with Murphy being made available for transfer.

Just about another 10-15 to follow Murf then.😀

Perhaps we should just bite the bullet, clear the decks, take the hit and move on.

Hearing that the rumours over player discontent leading to MoN being sacked were a smokescreen and there were other forces at work. Mendes?...🤔

I don't think MON would've taken us far. Might be wrong but I suppose we'll never know now.

Can day the same with so many managers over recent years. This constant churn isn’t going to deliver much other than further disappointment for the supporters IMO, unless they actually manage to fluke promotion.
