Its been our time thats for sure, when Rangers were winning the lot in the 90s, I think it was only Spiers who asked the question 'how can this be maintained, how are these wages possible considering the football country we are' he was lambasted by the 'succulent lamb' press, but in all honesty that time sowed the seeds of our success, threw it all at winning the lot and ended up in a mess. I am forever keeping a wee eye on Celtic making sure we don't do similar.

Except ‘you’ didn’t nearly clear all that debt. The bank of Scotland came fairly close, but rangers didn’t.

And I suppose £20 million or thereabouts is fairly close.

Apparently Murray offered them a settlement (a pretty substantial sum) and they knocked it back.

He apparently also nearly sold you to someone, but looked him in the eyes and decided he didn’t have the best interest of rangers at heart.
