Divock Origi

Big Divock has signed a new long-term contract

He's not going to get too much game time you would think, but he MASSIVELY stepped up last season when he was called upon. I would have been disappointed if he had left.

Here's to more important goals from the Belgian next season

Glad he's stayed as he can also play on the left wing if needed which is where we're a bit short at the moment.

Plus he seems to chip in with 10 goals a season which is always handy.

Hes still only what 24? 10m ? Probably already recouped on loan fees alone, the one to wolfsburg we got 6 or 8m for. Hes bulked up still quick but looks stronger and hold ups a lot better seems to work a bit hard too and finding space inbetween, he was in good positions in the final for example just couldnt complete a pass.

Manes had a few ruled out and one cleared off the line and one saved 1v1 which was offside too, last one was cms if that. Always a threat l, gueye gave them the lead, underrated player lot of teams could do with a player like him even at 29.

So pleased he signed...going from strength to strength is Origi. I think he's going to be invaluable to us this coming season.

I'd take zaha in a second. He can play in a false 9 position like Bobby too and cover both wings. I think tactically he may take a while to get where klopp wants him but in termsof talent, every time I've seem him live I've been massively impressed with what he does.

I dont think he'd cut it in a bigger team - likes to feel like the most important player too much. And he's bloody annoying with all his winging!

Didn't cheer any goal as much as his Champions League final goal against the spu*s

Fair play to him

I think it's impossible to say to be honest. You can't judge him for his time at United. He does whinge a lot. He also gets fouled a hell of a lot.

He might do - but so do all players with his skill - he just needs to crack on with it. Its just a feeling i get about him - could imagine him sulking a lot! Great player though!
