Transfer talk

Hapoel Beer Sheva boss Barak Bakhar reckons it’s “natural" that Hatem Abd Elhamed will join Celtic.

The 28-year-old is expected to complete a £2million move to Parkhead imminently - with a four-year deal expected.

Lennon confirmed after Wednesday night’s win over Sarajevo that he should have news on a new arrival within days.

Elhamed was left out of Beer Sheva’s squad for their home Europa League qualifying tie with Albanian side KF Laci and boss Bakhar won’t stand in the right-sided defender’s way.

Jozo Simunovic has reportedly emerged as a £5million transfer target for Lille.

Steven Gerrard has revealed Daniel Candeias is set to quit Rangers for Turkish side Genclerbirligi because he isn’t up for the fight for a first team place at Ibrox.

The RB/CB might be good, might not be.
We don't have a crystal ball so we'll just have to wait and see.

I hope he's as good as Andy Hinkel and Adam Matthews were.

I think he's more a CB/RB tbh from what I hear

I'm still hopeful but at odds with the usual Balkan players it seems he does need toughened up.

Usually they look about 35 when they are 20, he looks his age his parents must be rich.

So, anyone DO know if he is any good or not?

I am assuming Lustig has been consulted on this guys suitability and green lit the move

Rest easy.

He does have a habit of being consulted on CB's

In my opinion he’s better than KT

So after an exhaustive search lasting months (years?), a 28 year old, comparatively bargain basement, CB who can play RB is going to be our new RB? Sounds about right! Welcome to CP, mate ... I think.
