When should Ole play his preferred 11?

Given that he won’t announce his starting XI, whether he plays it in pre season or not, it doesn’t really matter.

We still really need a CB and CM
Bar city and Liverpool there is very little between the other top 6 clubs at the moment imo

I agree Manc Python, even if we get new signings i dont know if'll risk putting them in the deep end against chelsea

Hopfully matic will improve his match fitness, hes the only slight concern, being too slow but wasnt too bad against inter

McT should play instead of matic. He’s getting better and better, let’s give him a proper run.

I don't think we're going to have a preferred XI this season. I think we're going to see at least two different setups used in games (including those we saw today), and roles will be filled by different players in those two setups.

I would like to see the side to face Chelsea out in the last preseason fixture though, regardless of how the team think we'd ideally set up in that game.

I think any top side has a certain amount of flexibility in its first choice team but I’d really like to see a settled defence.

And I include in that a holding midfielder.

I think the constant changing of personnel at the back is so disruptive.

yeh defo Winston settled defence and cdm would be ideal
