It really isn't that different to footballers getting paid masses. One just happens to rely on fine motor skills and the other one on major motor skills.

Society doesn't value the things that actually give back to society. See the pay and funding of emergency services, teachers etc.

In hours played at the moment Fortnight is way above many sports.

As weird as it is the winners of this tournament are truly elite level and if you can accept that the money is high in football then you really need to understand this is a similar situation
