Dybala will struggle in the EPL.
Dybala /Lukaku swap?

And they’re not the same quality, nowhere near

I don’t think Dunk is that bad, or good. I just don’t think Maguire is much better. And i think that will prove to be the case once Dunk replaces him at Leicester this year

I’d be surprised if Leicester do spend that on Dunk. Maguire is much better but they’re gonna struggle at the back no matter who is there with Rodgers in charge.

I feel sick.

Don’t worry, Maguire will improve us. The cost doesn’t really matter does it? Not our money. We’ll make it back in a couple of noodle deals.

I agree that the cost doesn’t matter, but it does matter comparatively speaking.
If you can have Maguire for 80 mil or Koulibaly for 80 mil and you take Maguire then you’re being a spanner.
You could just go get Lewis Dunk for 50 mil who really isn’t any worse than Maguire and that would save you 30 mil.

But what is Koulibaly isn’t available though?
Maybe Maguire is the only one available that can improve us in the way we need - if that’s the case I’d rather go into the season having bought him for
Whatever the cost was rather than get to November and see the same type of goal conceded and not have Maguire there

We’ll probably see the same type of goals conceded with Maguire there as well.

the best system utd played under ole was 433
but with a front 3 of martial and rashford either side of lingard. Lingard was playing as the false 9 and imposible to pickup and often interchanging/supporting the wide forward. if dybala joined i will love us to play a similar system with dybala for lingard

4231 was always what Ole played before he came to united right?
Wonder if he'll risk pogba in a 2 man midfield and play dybala in the middle of the attacking 3
Probably just the diamond though

I think he played a few different formations. 433, 4231, 442 and the diamond from what I’ve read. But I’m not sure how often each one was used. But he’s changed things around in the time he’s been here so I think we’ll see a few different systems, especially depending on opposition.

Yeah, but you can’t have Koulibaly for 80m, can you?
