Dropped 2 points today despite being the better side. We will go up. I’m so confident. Because of what I saw today and last week.
This is despite the following 😉
We sold too much of our deadwood that we never thought we would be able to get rid of.
That AR is simply lining his pockets and not investing enough in the team.
While simultaneously Orta is pending way too much on players to get us promoted.
I just hope that we can shake off the everlasting jet lag from Australia and Italy before January so we can start to perform at th level of the rest of the league and hopefully avoid promotion.
I for one back Leeds to win the league because we play the best football by far. And I look forward to the excuses from those that are proved wrong in May.
We will get promoted this season

If Costa & Nketia live up to their hype & stay injury free then just maybe. Get Roberts Ayling back asap

Hell of a lot of positives yesterday.
Dominated the game
Referee missed foul in build up to their goal
2 stonewall penalties to Leeds not given
Play that game again and we win it 9/10.
Main negative parts were
Forshaw trying to dive instead of shoot (decent chance)
Poor defending from corners
Kalvin tackle.
4 points from 6 against sides that are expected to finish top half is a good start.

I would question some of your assumptions and
categorical statements:
2 stonewall penalties?
Play that game again and we win?
Forshaw trying to dive instead of shoot?
4 Pts from 6 against sides that are expected to
finish top 6
Bristol City and Nottingham Forest, top 6? Really!
Why does Phillips get his Christian name mentioned,
Forshaw his surname ...just asking?

Actual fact there are 3 penalties - Kick on Dallas / Push on Costa / Arm across Costa - all looked very good shouts. Maybe not stonewall but from those 3 we were very unlucky to get 0.

Forshaw i havent seen again but live at the game he had a decent shooting position and appeared to take a dive instead. Correct me if im wrong - easy to see with tv and replays.
Bristol / Forest - i said top half. 12th and above. Finished 8th and 9th last season.
Kalvin is the best.

If you were to play the exact same game again but players and referee were able to have another go at the chances and referees were able to have another go at making the crucial decisions i think we win that game 9 times out of 10. Hence i am saying the performance was pretty good overall. That said i havent seen Kalvins (Phillips) tackle again - was it red card worthy?

Nice to hear Bryn Law on the commentary.

Hi Kebablegs
I would say Phillips tackle was borderline, card or
sent off, probably 50/50...very similar tackle to the
one last season against Forest, we were in command
of the game at the time and got well beat...I had a
case of deja vu yesterday....Phillips is a good player
but he needs to curb his enthusiasm or might well
cost his team with another suspension.
On penalty count I would say 1 stonewall pen for
Leeds on Dallas...thought we were lucky to get away
with one, Forest corner, White fouling there CB.
On Forshaw 'diving 'I would say hard to tell
categorically, I would give him benefit of doubt.
Good to hear from you Kebab.

We'll be up there but we have too many weaknesses
* Lack of depth
* Lack of height
* No plan B
* No 25 goal striker
* Bottle job mentality
* Chancer owners
All of last season's problem appeared in game 2 of this season as we failed to address them in the summer. We have no Roofe to come back from injury to take Bamfords place, no Jansson to come back neither, we're having to do it the hard way.

I was sorry to see Roofe leave...would have liked
him to play alongside Bamford, possibilities there,
would have been interesting, though the possession
in midfield would have been diluted, so take your
choice, two pronged strike force or dominating
possession.
Not that keen on Bamford tbh, not sure he suits
Leeds....I would leave the midfield alone, think the
defence and strikers are the areas that need
attention most.
