Jamie Murphy to go out on loan

The gaffer feels he isn't at the level of the other players after being out for a year. Got to admit I'm really disappointed with this.
Fair enough if he is that far off the pace, however it leaves our options there very poor.

Jones had a great game the other night but its he going to consistently perform like that? Can't see it.
Barker from what I've seen of him is a clone of Jones.
Middleton is nearing his loan move too.

Think the wings could really be our downfall this year. That's where we are likely to struggle when trying to break teams down.
Pretty happy with Arfield and aribo through the middle however it's not enough to only have creativity there.

Aye its no bother. Wee walk on to the city link then jump on subway. Choice of footwear really let me down today. Rubber type soles and sliding about on streets.

The Murphy situation is a bit strange, Gerrard says he's 4 months off it so why would anyone want to loan him?

Barker i'm underwhelmed by but more because i expected Kent after Candeias was allowed to leave. Looking forward to seeing what he's got.

Gerrard has said he is four months off the level required to play for the Rangers first team. Rangers play a fairly energetic pressing game and are expected to win every match. We cannot accommodate someone getting up to speed in the first team right now - we need to be at it every game.

That's not to say he couldn't play at a lower level and build up match fitness and sharpness.

I would send him to Thistle on loan until January. He would still be close by so could still be around Auchenhowie to some degree.

Plus he would be playing at a reasonably competitive level and should stand out, get a few goals and get his competitive edge back.

Not a bad shout but if i was the Thistle chairman i would see it as helping Rangers out so wouldn't be offering to pay his wages.

The sooner he is back firing the better for us so might be worth it.

Hastie is way off the required level at the moment. I am really not seeing it in him.

Thankfully he only cost us a couple of hundred £K.
