On Thursday evening Wolves welcome FC Pyunik to Molineux for the second leg of their third qualifying round tie.
Wolves start with a massive advantage having beaten the Armenian team 4-0 on their home soil last week.

Nuno Espirito Santo has a full squad to choose from with the only injury doubt being midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White. With a home Premier League game on Monday against Manchester United, Nuno is expected to utilise some of the fringe players and give some of his first pick a rest. A first start for striker Patrick Cutrone and a debut for centre back Jesus Vallejo are both possibilities considering the goal advantage that his side will start with.

A full house is expected at Molineux with a majority of the Wolves supporters coming to see their team play a European competition game for the first time in their lifetimes.

The game will be shown live on Premier Sports

Nuno:

“We still have to make a decision to prepare the starting eleven (against Pyunik) but having all the squad available gives us good options. We still have to decide and play the game.”

Never checked to be honest pal as I discovered that I have the Premier Sports channels on my TV box so it's happy days for me.

Wimbledon played MK Dons in the Carabao Cup last night. Last time they met, Wimbledon were fined for no refusing to call MK the Dons either in the programme or on the PA.

So last night they didn’t print a programme and claimed the PA was out of order

13050 at Pyunik last week of which 48 were from Wolves.

About 30000 at Molineux tomorrow of which 0 from Pyunik.

About 200 tickets left for tomorrow at the moment which will doubtless be sold during the day

Looking at how clubs outside the usual top 6 have fared in the Premier League in seasons where they were also making a rare appearance in European football.

Burnley 15th
Everton 11th
West Ham 11th
Southampton 8th
Leicester (champions league) 11th

Can Wolves buck the trend and do as well or even better than they did in the season they earned a European spot

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Interesting that, Everton have had a few Europa league seasons, not sure how it affected their league position on each occasion (other half informs me they finished 8th after the last EL campaign) . Think Burnley only played two ties last season but it really screwed the first half of their season somehow.

Not mean't in a sexist way at all, the officials in the in the Super cup match tonight have done alright, but have to say one of the linos is quite tidy.

Man Utd’s next 4 away games are at Wolves, Southampton, West Ham and Newcastle. The Manchester Evening News ran a survey asking their fans which of those games would be the toughest. 91% voted for the Wolves game

Because they are in European competition, Wolves are seeded to the 3rd round of the Carabao Cup which is in week commencing 23rd September. That means we are only 4 rounds away from the Wembley final.

Of course the first round has already taken place and some of the smaller clubs in the league like West Bromwich Albion are already out
