I watched that documentary before they went to the World Cup and I found it very difficult to square the hype about her with the reality. She seemed clueless and a bit of a nutjob who learned about football and coaching on a training course.

As I said - if this was a mens manager necking a few pints before a team meeting which then got out of control we would be talking about it all day.

Like others have said, does she genuinely think that if it emerged that Steve Clarke had some drinks before a team meeting and the players were so upset/annoyed with him they were considering their futures with the national team no one would care?

She should get the sack. Simple as that. Inept in every department.
