Poor performance today, usual story of lots of possession but not creating lots of meaningful chances. This wasn't just down to us, Brentford pressed high and tried to not give us time on the ball all over the pitch and consequently passes went astray and there were periods when we were second best to the ball.
Hernandez gave the ball away a lot and it was right he was subbed, but also felt that Forshaw was poor and Klich subdued. Talking of subdued, Harrison really struggled to get into the game, I wonder if the partnership with Alioski will work as Alioski struggles to pass to team mate at times.
I know Promotion goes on about Forshaw, but he has a very valid point, the guy doesn't score goals and that might just be the difference between going up or not, especially if Klich isn't chipping in with many either.
Philips did his job, without really standing out, such is the level he has set for himself.
Cooper and White dealt with most stuff pretty tidily and passing ut from teh back was very good.
Bamford looked immobile and offered very little threat up top expect for a couple of headers from open play.
What was very disappointing was our lack of idea for corners...cross into area, gets headed straight out due to our lack of height, would like to see some creativity from our corners.
Costa, looked a yard faster than anyone in our team when he came on and same with Nketiah.
You could see Nketiah knowing exactly where to go for the cross and unusually we crossed it in rather than cut it back.
So, whilst it was a poor performance it was a really good result, especially a good result to get when not playing at our best.
You would think that Costa will be in starting line up soon and if I was Bielsa I would be quickly trying to work out what is best up top, Bamford, Nketiah, or both.
I hope Dallas injury isn't that bad, with 2 of our back 4 out injured, we can ill afford another injury back there.
Well done to Bielsa for being brave enough to take Hernandez off, and also making the subs early enough to make a difference.
At the end of the day, great result tonight.

As for our CB's. Cooper has just grown and grown over the last 2 seasons. I posted on another thread, I think White is an absolute find (so far). Really impressed with the guy so far. Had my doubts before season started whether we could rely on him, but so far so good.

Funnily enough, a Brentford player ran right across the refs line of vision when Berardi tripped the guy (at least it looked like he tripped him unless someone has a better view) - think that’s why it wasn’t given. So maybe for once it evened itself out..., the ref’s view cost us a goal and gave us one.

This evened itself out with Berardi tackle. Just frustrating that we've had 4 games and already there have been 2 obvious handballs, 1 blatant foul and then a couple of decent shouts (where it would be fouls anywhere else on the pitch) and we've not had a penalty.
Should have had a minimum of 3 penalties.
