Wolves v Burnley Match Preview [LIVE]

Date: Sunday 25th August
Venue: Molineux
Kick off time: 16.30

On Sunday Wolves welcome Burnley to Molineux for their first meeting of the season. In the same fixture last season Wolves ran out as narrow winners thanks to a single goal from Raul Jimenez.
During the summer Sean Dyche made a couple of transfers of note, Danny Drinkwater on loan from Chelsea and striker Jay Rodriguez arrived from Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
Going the other way was ex-Wolves player Steven Ward who left to join Stoke City.

Sean Dyche has been on his soapbox recently bumping his gums about players diving.
He says, players β€œcan cheat at least once a game" as he criticised the Premier League's rules on simulation after defeat at Arsenal.
Dyche said he attended a recent Premier League meeting where, regarding simulation, he was told "the worst that can happen is a yellow card".

He added: "Have you ever thought about that? I don't know any sport where they tell you that you can cheat once a game. I've never seen that in sport before.

Currently in 10th place in the table Burnley have 3 points picked up during their season opener against Southampton at Turf Moor. They lost their second game away at Arsenal.

No Wolves facts are necessary as anyone reading this knows at least as much about our club as I do and no Burnley fans will be reading this as there are none on this forum.

Gems prediction: 2-0

Yes Wolves will go into tomorrow’s game in 18th and in a relegation position. 3 points tomorrow however will put us in the top 6

My Norwegian plastic manc is obviously not happy. When I pointed out to him that if we win tomorrow we will go above united in the table he replied, "And you'll deserve it"
And they say Wolves fans are fickle

Definitely 2 points dropped against Man Utd. They will finish mid table this year.
